Opportunity for Impact
We're seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a hospital-employed Emergency Medicine team serving a high-acuity regional trauma center. This role focuses on delivering emergency medical care, managing critically ill and injured patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing high-quality care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

This position is ideal for a residency-trained Emergency Medicine physician who enjoys working in a collaborative hospital setting with strong specialty support, modern clinical resources, and the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population.

Role & Responsibilities
– Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with emergency medical conditions
– Stabilize critically ill and injured patients in a high-acuity Emergency Department
– Perform emergency procedures, including airway management and resuscitation
– Collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and ancillary staff
– Coordinate admissions, transfers, consultations, and discharges
– Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
– Participate in a collaborative, patient-centered clinical environment

Professional Qualifications
– Completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency program
– ABEM or AOBEM Board Certified or Board Eligible
– Eligible for medical licensure in Alabama
– Strong emergency patient stabilization and critical care skills
– Experience performing emergency procedures and airway management
– Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
– Experience in a high-volume Emergency Department preferred
– Interest in academic or resident teaching opportunities preferred

- Approximately $450k-$480k annually
